Khnaz
Khnaz just finished his first year racing. He did all three spring races and improved by 20% during the fall NICA season that included four races.

Khnaz: Woodberry Forest
Q: Where did you improve?
Khnaz: Going uphills, for sure. I don’t like downhills. I like uphills better.
Q: Which race do you wish you could redo?
Khnaz: Miller School. I got a bad placement. I could get better than that.
Q: Most impressive teammate?
Khnaz: Ahhhh, how can I say this….. Ummmm. I’ll say Wop. He just came back from a break, like three years, and he did good.
Q: Favorite part of race season?
Khnaz: Going against other people.
Q: What do you want to improve on?
Khnaz: Nothing really. I guess berms and speed.
Q: Favorite moment?
Khnaz: Oh, when I met my little friend. The dude I race with. Every race he comes and talks to the team. He races for Star City.

Khnaz: When I fell. In the last race.
Joe
Joe also finished his first year racing. He did also improved by 20% over his spring season. He competed in all four NICA races this fall.

Joe: Monticello

Joe: Everything. Downhill. Uphill. Everything.
Q: Which race do you wish you could redo?
Joe: Woodberry Forest.

Joe: Khnaz.

Joe: All the rides.
Q: What do you want to improve on?
Joe: Uphills.
Q: Favorite moment?
Joe: Sprinting. I love sprinting.
Q: Funniest moment?
Joe: When Wop lied about falling.
Korey
Korey is our most experienced rider. He finished the season fourth overall and finished in the top five in each of the four races.

Korey: Monticello
Q: Where did you improve?
Korey: All around.
Q: Which race do you wish you could redo?
Korey: Woodberry. I feel like I didn’t do my best.
Q: Most impressive teammate?
Korey: Joe.
Q: Favorite part of race season?
Korey: Finishing all the races.
Q: What do you want to improve on?
Korey: Climbing.
Q: Favorite moment?
Korey: When we were walking towards the podium after the Monticello races.
Q: Funniest moment?
Korey: Monticello before the race when everyone was just walking around and talking.
Wop
Wop was in his first set of races since spring 2019. He got back into biking this summer and did all four NICA races.

Wop: Woodberry. Just cause I liked the trail.

Wop: I’ll say downhills.

Wop: Monticello

Wop: Joe

Wop: Practices with the whole team.

Wop: My speed.

Wop: Me crashing.
Kamari
Kamari finished her first year racing. She competed as a middle schooler in the spring and did all four NICA races this fall against the freshman girls.

Kamari: Woodberry
Q: Where did you improve?
Kamari: I moved up my placements. I improved my speed.
Q: Which race do you wish you could redo?
Kamari: Monticello

Kamari: Korey and Wop.

Kamari: Just trying to get better.

Kamari: Still my speed.

Kamari: After the race.

Kamari: When I smacked a tree.
Knowledge
Knowledge competed in his first set of races. He came and watched during the spring and got more serious as cyclist over the summer. He competed against other middle schoolers in his first ever bike races during NICA season.

Knowledge: Woodberry. It was mostly flat, unlike the other ones that had a lot of hills.
Q: Where did you improve?
Knowledge: Maybe…. control of the bike.

Knowledge: The last one [Monticello]
