The time has flown, and we can’t believe we’re already here again - but the cold months have landed and the need for warmth is dire. What better way to stay warm than with local chefs, RCC supporters, and community members - all together to vote on which recipes really bring the heat?
While the main event launches at 11:00am, we’ll have group rides rolling out of the doors of our downtown headquarters at 9:00am - join local legends Carbon Racing Team on a road or mountain bike ride before you settle in for chili. We’ll share more ride details via social media, soon.
We’ll be at headquarters at 8:30am on the 7th to let you in, give you a hot cup of coffee or hot cocoa, so feel free to bring a drop bag with an outfit change inside for your best chili attire so you can ride and then change.
Rides return at 11:00am, when the main event kicks off. For a suggested donation of $15, participants will get four tickets and unlimited sampling of local wares, and by noon - final votes must be cast.
We’ll tally votes and announce winners at 12:30, with handmade trophies as awards. Winners will be chosen for:

Sign up to make a pot of chili or cornbread for the contest! Bring your goods in an electric warmer (no open flame) to RCC HQ by no later than 10:30. We will have little index cards for you to write your ingredients and chili title. Sign up to enter the contest by clicking here.
